Supports assigned spend category requirements, assists in the development of framework to improve supplier and performance management. Conducts research and identifies trends in the market. Provides routine analysis that defines opportunities to improve cost. Manages existing relationships and collaborates with suppliers on a limited scope to identify and manager risks.
Supports assigned business categories with a spend of $25M - $50M by interfacing with business units to understand and support assigned spend category requirements by developing solutions to routine problems of limited scope; supports sourcing managers to negotiate new agreements and manage existing relationships with suppliers
Utilizes systems to improve visibility and management of information to effectively manage contracts and supplier performance
Conducts research and stays current on category market, business, and technology trends improving category management and delivery value.
Utilizes systems to improve visibility and management of information; effectively manages contracts and supplier performance.
Assists senior analysts with enforcement of procurement policies and processes, including the use of Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) processes to indentify potential suppliers
Performs basic analysis and creates models to understand and define opportunities to improve cost.
Assists in the development and reporting of progress for key category managers.
Under general supervision and may be paired with a more senior analyst.
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, operations management, or a related field required
0 - 2 years experience required.
