Responsibilities: Tenure-track faculty members are expected to develop and maintain an active research agenda for future tenure consideration and are evaluated on their research/scholarly/creative activity, teaching, and service. The faculty member will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, supervise student theses, and maintain active research and publication agendas.
Requirements include a Ph.D. in English, Comparative Literature, Rhetoric or a related field by August 2018.
We are seek candidates with a specialization in Medieval Studies OR Twentieth-Century/Twenty-First-Century Studies (with a focus on Latinx Studies, African American/African Diasporic Studies, or Native American Studies).
Expertise in one or more of the following is also welcome: critical theory, global/post- colonial approaches, disability studies, composition studies, critical race studies, ecocriticism, translation studies, book history/media theory, gender and sexuality studies, creative writing, or digital humanities.
We are especially interested in candidates with interdisciplinary approaches and whose research spans fields or genres.
