The Criminal Justice Program invites applicants with expertise in law and/or courts for a tenure-track position beginning September 1, 2018.
Candidates will be expected to teach in the B.A. and M.A. programs and must be able to teach core classes. Teaching load is three courses (12 credit hours) per semester. All candidates are expected to teach a general studies course every semester. Additional duties, including student advisement, are required as negotiated under the collective bargaining agreement. Excellent teaching and service are expected for Instructors; excellent teaching, strong scholarship, and service are expected for Assistant Professors.

Minimum Qualifications: For Assistant Professor, advanced ABDs will be considered. For Instructor, J.D.s and those with M.A. or M.S. degrees and significant practitioner experience will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications: For Assistant Professor, Ph.D. in Criminal Justice or related field or J.D.
Salary Commensurate with experience
