Conducts routine site visits within the state and evaluates modes of nutrition education and social marketing efforts leading to establishing healthier eating habits and being more physically active.
Oversees the evaluation planning matrix, which guarantees that TSU SNAP-Ed meets the standards of the SNAP-Ed nationwide evaluation framework.
Ensures that the data collection and assessment tools meet the guidelines established by SNAP-Ed Plan Guidance, as well as aligns with criteria for the Federal SNAP-Ed Fiscal Year Indicators.
Utilizes the SNAP-Ed guides and principles lending support to the SNAP-Ed changes resulting from the comprehensive nutrition education interventions for TSU SNAP-Ed eligible participants across the state.
Analyzes and interprets data retrieved from individuals, groups, and family nutrition and physically active county programs.
Presents findings through documented written reports, outlining the impact of TSU SNAP-Ed program on SNAP Tennesseans.
Collects statistical and narrative data on a monthly basis from agents and program assistants, summarizing reports for quality assurance and process improvement for presentations during meetings.
Compares desired and actual program outcomes, recommending changes based on documented comparisons.
Promotes policy, system and environmental changes that improve access to healthy eating and physical activities through education, delivery, and implementation of new processes.
Assists with SNAP-Ed reviews along with the Program Director and Manager, enhancing the program by monitoring staff pre/post survey practices.
