Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a hourly position with up to 14 hours a week. The timing of the hours/days will be scheduled by the immediate supervisor.

The Coordinator of the ENHANCE Program, which provides additional services to students who are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) above and beyond what is required under disability Law, reports to the Director of the Center for Health and Counseling Services and is responsible for developing and overseeing the program. The ENHANCE Program takes a holistic approach and focuses on social, academic, organizational, and emotional growth to help students with ASD adapt and flourish in college and beyond.
Develops the application process, marketing materials and advertising for the ENHANCE Program
Markets ENHANCE program through visits to high schools and community colleges, participates in College open houses, attends relevant conferences (e.g., ASPEN) and/or other appropriate events
Creates the curriculum for the program
Interviews students for acceptance into the ENHANCE Program
Offers individualized weekly coaching sessions with the students
Offers weekly group meetings for peer support
Creates and oversees social events for students in program
Creates and administers workshops for parents
Recruits, trains, and provides on-going supervision to peer mentors
Collaborates with campus stakeholders about the program
Acts as a liaison between students and campus offices, when appropriate
Master's degree in mental health related field and licensed in NJ.
Minimum three years of experience working clinically with adolescents and/or young adult population who have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder
Preferred experience working with college students populations
Demonstrated strong clinical skills essential
Experience working in a college setting
Experience with culturally diverse populations
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to provide consultation and referral services
Excellent presentation skills and experience leading workshops
