Provide comprehensive psychiatric and mental health services to students. This includes obtaining a complete history, diagnosing disorders, prescribing psychotropic and other medications to treat symptoms of psychiatric disorders and improve functional health status.
Coordinate referrals and ongoing access to primary and other health care services.
Provide consultation to and seek consultation from other health care clinicians.
Masters or DNP degree from a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program in an accredited graduate nursing school
State of Wyoming Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license (or eligible)
DEA Registration (or eligible)
State of Wyoming Controlled Substance Registration (or eligible)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent listening skills
Experience with electronic medical records
Ability to contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts
5 years working as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in an outpatient setting
College Health experience
