The Research Specialist 1 will undertake and/or assist in behavioral and neurobiological experiments in relation to hippocampal-dependent learning and memory in mice.Duties: Orienting new staff and students to the laboratory, making sure everybody has proper testing and access to animal facility, gets cnet ID and medical center ID, etc. Ordering and monitoring supplies for the laboratory. Setting up breeding cages, identifying the genetic strain of offspring, keeping a database of mouse colony. Undertaking/assisting a research project.
