The Department of Strategic Partnerships is seeking a Project Manager who will manage various aspects of the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of the MSK Cancer Alliance and other exciting affiliations.
As the Project Manager, you are:
An effective communicator, capable of determining how best to reach different audiences and executing communications based on that understanding.
Able to work effectively in an environment notable for complex, sometimes contradictory information.
Skilled at gaining the support and commitment of others by engaging them around your perspective and priorities.
Capable of operating efficiently, even when things are not clear, or the way forward is not evident.
Flexible in your approach and demeanor in order to align with the shifting demands of evolving circumstances.
Support the Manager in creating project strategy. Work with designated partners on the annual project plan and track progress throughout the year.
Support the Manager in the business development process:
Conduct research and evaluate potential partners.
Conduct due diligence.
Assure effective coordination between MSK and partner at the department level.
Manage assigned project(s):
Assist the team in developing annual work plans.
Draft periodic reports on project implementation and progress.
Help to create metrics and methods for monitoring clinical performance.
Introduce and collect Resources and Capabilities (R&C) and Standards of Care (SOC), including assessments, gap analyses, and alignment plans.
Manage Alliance DMT tumor board schedules and attend meetings.
Plan and support education and training programs for partners.
Participate in Alliance Steering Committee and subcommittees.
Perform other functions, including:
Resolving project-related issues.
Assist in planning, directing, and managing special programs for the Alliance.
Help develop quality parameters for the department.
A Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred) and a minimum of 2 years of Healthcare-related experience in a clinical or administrative role.
