The Manager, Patient Financial Services (PFS) oversees operational activities and provides cross coverage in all functional areas within Patient Financial Services. They will conduct ongoing analysis of operations to identify trends, issues and ways to improve customer service, increase efficiency and maximize resolution of accounts, and works with all levels of management in the Division, Center administration and physicians’ offices to identify and resolve issues and implement improvements.
Oversee operational activities in two or more functional areas and provides cross conference in all functional areas within the Patient Financial Services.
Conduct ongoing analysis of operations to identify trends, issues and ways to improve customer service, increase efficiency and maximize resolution of accounts.
Work with all levels of management in the Division, Centeradministration and physicians' offices to identify and resolve issues and implement improvements.
Coach supervisors on staffing-related actions including hiring, performance review, training, professional development, and creating a productive work environmen
Train, and consistently review supervisors’ performance and evaluate against position’s job-related and competency standards. Provide feedback on performance as well as opportunities for development on an ongoing basis
Reviews policies and procedures, on an ongoing basis, to ensure that they are up-to-date, meet compliance standards, and reflect current, as well as best, practice
In response to contact from administration, Patient Representatives Department and physicians, obtain complete information, perform a thorough analysis, and respond quickly with a decision or consults with Director/Vice President to resolve problems
A Bachelor's Degree
4-7 years experience, including at least 2 years of supervisory experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and excel
