Help with overseeing operations relating to receipt, claiming, routing and in-house distribution of journals, law reviews, advance sheets, and loose-leaf supplements. Keeping departmental statistics. Maintaining records in ILS. · Receive current periodicals, loose-leaf supplements, and advance sheets. Keep serials statistics. Download, print, and distribute the Current Index to Legal Periodicals to faculty who receive it in print. · Claim periodicals and loose-leaf supplements not received. · Route current periodicals to faculty and library staff. Prepare routing slips and routings reports. · Using ExLibris web-based tools, maintain URL related content displayed in the public catalog accessible over the web and fixing any broken links discovered or reported. · Loading new and updated electronic records received from our vendors into Workflows, reviews the reports generated by the system, and verifies the integrity of the records to eliminate redundant and/or incomplete records. · Process Annex Transfers. Collect items from the shelves to be transferred to the annex and modify location information in Acorn. Collect periodicals for binding and deliver them to the acquisitions assistant. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift boxes of books and move book carts. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree and at least one year library experience. Job Related Skills: Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel; Experience with and Integrated Library System, particularly the serials module, is highly desirable. Experience working with legal materials desirable.
