Selected candidate will be required to pass a pre hire criminal history background check;
Will be required to take HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accessibility) training within 30 days of hire;
Will be required to complete Title IX (Sexual Harassment) training every two years.
Experience in assessment and referral of individuals who have experienced interpersonal violence, are seeking mental health services or other relevant client management experience
Relevant experience working in a college/university setting
Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to independently prioritize and complete work under multiple, competing deadlines and frequent interruptions
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) with demonstrated effectiveness in interacting with students, staff and parents of various social, cultural, economic and educational backgrounds
Related administrative experience with knowledge of standard office procedures and equipment (e.g. computers, internet)
Ability to listen and anticipate the needs of customers; responds quickly to customer problems
Ability to exercise appropriate judgment and discretion, particularly in sensitive or confidential matters
Ability to exercise independent judgment and diplomacy while communicating effectively with a wide range of university staff, faculty, students and clients
