The Koret Scholars Program provides grants annually to fund undergraduate student research projects in any academic discipline. The College Scholars Program is a first and second year college-based honors program through which students can expect to challenge themselves academically, find other students who are similarly motivated, and explore undergraduate research. The College Scholars Program includes special courses, seminars, colloquia, and other events throughout the academic year.
Selected candidate will be required to pass a criminal history background check.
Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 25 pounds (with or without accommodation).
Must be able to work occasional nights and weekends.
Per the Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act (CANRA), this position has been identified as a Mandated Reporter.
High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Working knowledge and experience in administrative procedures and processes including word processing, spreadsheet and database applications, keeping track of financial transactions, maintaining records and files, and planning special events.
Requires verbal and written communication skills, active listening, critical thinking, multi-task and time management skills.
Skill in managing sensitive and confidential information and ability to follow campus and federal confidentiality and privacy policies.
Demonstrated sensitivity, knowledge, and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, gender, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of the students we serve; and sensitivity to and knowledge and understanding of groups historically underrepresented in higher education.
