Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a FGP Admin Ops Lead (35).
In this role, the successful candidate Position Summary:Responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the administrative staff, including front desk, schedulers, admins, all clinical staff to maintain effective operations at the Center. These tasks call for a person who is self-motivated, meticulous, and practical. The FGP Admin Coordinator acts as a liaison between Center staff members, physicians, and other NYULMC staff to ensure efficient day-to-day operations. In order to function effectively within a multi-specialty environment, the FGP Admin Coordinator must organize, supervise, and facilitate this cooperation amongst all involved.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Recognizes routine problems and recommends suggestions, ideas and solutions
Maintain cooperative and professional relationships with physicians, nurses, office and clinical staff. Supervise reg/sched, check-out, precert, referrals, prescription refill operations and staff, stepping in at times to assist.
Assist in quality assurance as directed by Medical Director. Work with other supervisors and administrative staff to address organization wide issues, including program development, personnel policies, and employee evaluations, training needs, safety concerns and quality assurance indicators.
Contributes to employee performance reviews
Enforce all office policies and procedures. Specifically track issues related to attendance, lateness, and behavioral patterns that require a verbal or written warning.
Follow up on office-related projects to make sure they are progressing efficiently and will be completed by deadline
Maintain MD scheduling templates in Epic
Troubleshoot routine problems, raises unresolvable issues to a higher level.
Act as the go-to person for all clinical and administrative staff for Epic-related issues.
Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelors Degree, 1-2 years of relevant experience including managing office activities, and administering budgets. Experience and competency with varied computer hardware and software, including EPIC (Super User). Writing skills to compose and edit logical, detailed, comprehensive and grammatically correct correspondence. Skill in communicating with various audiences with diplomacy and tact. Knowledge of medical terminology. Ability to handle matters of highly confidential and sensitive nature. Ability to recognize and identify problems, implications and propose alternative solutions. Skill in working independently and in following through on assignments with minimal direction.
