Real Estate Counsel will be responsible for a variety of legal matters related to the Company's shopping center portfolio, primarily including leasing, construction, development, property management and other operational matters.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 1.Negotiate and draft leases and related documents including amendments, assignments and SNDAs. 2.Negotiate and draft a design agreements, construction contracts, development agreements and related documents. 3.Provide legal support for development and redevelopment matters, including coordination of work with zoning and land use counsel. 4.Negotiate and draft other real estate documentation such as listing agreements, easement agreements, condominium association documents, access agreements, and license agreements. 5.Title and survey review. 6.Negotiate and draft a variety of corporate contracts, including confidentiality agreements, vendor contracts, and consulting agreements. 7.Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education, Training and/or Experience 1.J.D. and Bar Admission 2.7-10 years of relevant experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS Nature of work requires an ability to analyze, communicate and exchange information, collect, compile and prepare work documents, and operate standard business office equipment. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
WORKING CONDITIONS Work performed in a general office environment. May require extended hours.
