MnSCU Academic Supervisor 1 (Unclassified MMA)
This position is the academic operations director for the college in the overall management of the college's academic schedule including assuring that all college units work collaboratively to create and support an effective schedule. With limited supervision, this position creates and analyzes information for data-driven decision-making, and manages competing demands of various constituent groups, serving as the liaison between different college units, both within the Academic and Student Affairs unit as well as with the Administrative Services unit.
Bachelor's degree in business, organizational development or related area.
Experience in a leadership or supervisory position.
Experience in project management.
Ability to analyze and interpret enrollment data, conceptualize and create new ways of presenting information for improved decisions and planning.
Extensive knowledge of academic programming.
Experience in developing indicators and measurements, analyzing and presenting student and academic data.
Experience in conducting research.
Experience in Higher Education.
As this position has access to confidential information, including information on students and other sensitive data, it is necessary that this employee understand the sensitivity of the information and dispenses this information appropriately.
Ability to view issues with an open mind, consider alternatives, and lead innovation and change when appropriate.
Master's degree in a closely related field.
Experience and/or ability to prepare schedules in collaboration with academic deans and faculty schedulers.
Extensive knowledge of College policies and procedures and inter-relationships of all units of the College and Minnesota State offices to facilitate the tasks and anticipate potential conflicts of the instructional and students services administration areas of the College.
Experience in a position that required a high level of decision-making.
Experience with database development and maintenance.
Expertise in process improvement.
Experience working with multiple collective bargaining agreements.
Experience in a position that required a high degree of human relations skills.
Experience evaluating policies, procedures and processes in order to implement and effect change.

Anoka-Ramsey Community College (ARCC) is a multi-campus institution and a member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system. The Coon Rapids Campus is located on the banks of the Mississippi River twentymiles north of downtown Minneapolis. The Cambridge Campus is located on west Highway 95 on the Rum River in Cambridge. Beginning in 1965 with 600 students in a wing of Centennial High ...School in Circle Pines, Anoka-Ramsey Community College has grown considerably. In 1967 the college moved to the current Coon Rapids Campus of approximately 103 acres. The Cambridge Campus opened in 1978 and has shown consistent growth in enrollment and facilities. In addition, students may complete many ARCC college courses at convenient off-site locations throughout neighboring communities. During the 2008-2009 academic year, more than 11,000 students completed credit classes at the college.
