Under the leadership of the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Academic Personnel, the various APS service units perform a wide range of functions for the Executive Vice Chancellor and the entire campus community.
The Senior Training Analyst within Academic Personnel Services (APS) independently develops, manages and conducts training sessions for academic appointees, academic leadership, department administrators and managers, and academic personnel staff on Interfolio / Faculty 180, and when applicable, on AP Data and APOL. The incumbent collaborates with APS unit Directors in the implementation and training of new policies and procedures, especially as they relate to APS technology solutions. Incumbent will recommend improvements to business processes in order to establish best practices in technology that will increase efficiency, productivity and accuracy and to ensure the highest level of service to clients.
The incumbent independently designs online and hardcopy training material to increase and sustain proficiency with Interfolio and other APS technology. Responsible for developing an overall training program that is consistent with APM/PPM policy. Sets clear goals and implements metrics to evaluate the success and effectiveness of training strategies.
The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership in collaborating with team members to determine best practices and approaches to improve customer training and achieve work objectives. Actively participates in short- and long-term planning in policy, program, and procedure development, as well as workflow assessment. This position requires a high level of cultural and learning style awareness, tact, and diplomacy to effectively advise a diverse clientele on complex systems and policies.
