Under the direction of the Chief Human Resources Officer, implements, manages and supports technology solutions for Cook County Health & Hospitals System (CCHHS) Human Resources. Functions in the capacity of a Human Resource Business Analyst/Subject Matter Expert (SME). Understands the technology needs of the department and works to provide the required systems access, analytics, reports and training. Perform data analysis to identify trends to assist with management decisions. Provides systems support to users regarding software solutions and coordinates with various Cook County entities to resolve technical issues. Provides troubleshooting, client support and resolution of HRIS system issues. Works closely with other County departments in a coordinated effort directed at maintaining HRIS solutions. Interprets data and recommends policy and procedural changes as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or GED and eight (8) years of experience working in Human Resources with HRIS systems as a power user or system administration OR Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Three (3) years of full-time work experience as a business analyst and/or project team member responsible for supporting and/or implementing enterprise computer software such as ERP (i.e. JD Edwards, Oracle, SAP), and/or Time & Attendance System (i.e. Kronos, Workforce, ADP).
Advanced to Intermediate user of Microsoft Excel
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or Information Technology from an accredited college or university
Experience modifying existing and creating custom reports for HRIS systems
Experience working with Microsoft SharePoint
Experience working with the Taleo Recruiting/Onboarding
Experience with ERP HCM systems, i.e. JD Edwards, Oracle EBS
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics
Knowledge in the use, operation and configuration of desktop computers and software. Skill m the use, installation and application of such equipment.
Knowledge of report development for HRIS systems.
Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, MS SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite software (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio) and other available software/tools to manage projects, provide data analysis, develop forms, presentations and reports.
Knowledge of the concepts of GAP analysis, process re-engineering, application development, relational database structures and system implementation methodology (i.e. project initiation, design, development/configuration, testing, launch/go live, maintenance & support).
Skill in extracting and manipulating information pertaining to computerized business applications.
Knowledge of Human Resources operations, policies and procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively with others and use sound judgment in interpreting problems and issues related to data management.
