The Sr Enterprise Risk Management Analyst will work with, and provide assistance to, the Manager of Enterprise Risk Management in executing Citizens’ Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Program. The Risk Analyst will carry out and execute the programs and processes for identifying, assessing, monitoring, aggregating, and reporting key risks and related information under the guidance and direction of the Manager of Enterprise Risk Management. Responsibilities include coordinating with the Business Continuity Program, Process Improvement, the Office of Internal Audit, and other groups to facilitate the achievement of common objectives.
Assist in the execution of Citizens’ ERM program in consultation with and under the direction and guidance of the Manager of Enterprise Risk Management, including:
Analysis of risk information associated with the Corporation’s strategic plan;
Application of operational knowledge to identifying and prioritizing key risks to the Corporation;
Analysis of risk information associated with corporate initiatives
Assist in the development and implementation of risk mitigation and loss controls programs.
Assist in the maintenance of the Risk Management Information System for analyzing and reporting risk data to senior management and the Board of Governors.
Develop a sustainable process for developing and analyzing key risk indicators using data available across the organization.
Assist in the creation of educational programs and training for business unit management and general staff.
Aid and consult with business units in establishing, maintaining and continuously improving risk management capabilities by identifying risks throughout the organization, including measuring, developing, reporting and monitoring risk management issues.
Assist in the development of risk mitigation strategies for the organization’s critical risks, enterprise-wide risk assessments and the prioritization of risks across the organization.
Integrate the ERM process with other business units, including Process Improvement, Strategy and Planning, Project Management Office, the Business Continuity Program, and the Office of Internal Audit.
Assist the Manager of Enterprise Risk Management in communicating the organization’s ERM objectives and direction.
Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or related field OR four (4) years of relevant experience.
Four (4) or more years of hands-on broad experience in risk management.
Knowledge of risk management, including risk assessment and risk mitigation concepts and strategies.
Familiarity with database, query tools and/or risk management software.
Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing, with staff and management.
Ability to present to small and large groups.
Effective organization and time management skills, including the ability to adjust priorities as directed.
Ability to work with all levels of management and across business units and departments.
Demonstrated ability to achieve results through the effort of others.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, including being detail-oriented.
Skilled in problem solving; creativity in resolving unique and challenging business problems; good business judgment.
Ability to motivate others and gain general consensus.
Solid interpersonal and relationship building skills, including working well with others as a team.
