Advertised Summary Job Description: THIS IS A GRANT FUNDED POSITION Technician Aide will assist the PI in the clinical research projects in the Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology, including, but not limited to (1) perform data entry of different IRB-approved pediatric anesthesia clinical research projects in Redcaps or study-specific Electronica Data Capture System (2) conduct any necessary data cleaning to prepare for data analysis (3) perform data analysis (4) prepare written reports of results of data analysis (5) prepare presentation of study results (6) participate in the design of appropriate follow-up studies based on the obtained study results.
The Technician Aide will assist the PI and Research Coordinator in managing active IRB protocols, submitting renewal of existing protocols, prepare new IRB protocols for submission.
General Minimum Qualifications: Qualified applicant will have BS/BA and have substantial background in epidemiology, biostatistics, experience in data analysis software programs, proficient in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, as well as Access and Photoshop. In addition, the qualified candidate must have a thorough understanding of all of the regulatory issues related to Human Research, HIPAA, PHI confidentiality and data security.
