Information Management-Human Resources (IMHR) is looking for a talented system administrator to configure, implement, maintain and support the HR cloud applications for the University of Iowa's Talent@Iowa initiative. This position is part of a fast paced, results driven team comprised of highly skilled and self-starting individuals. Persons in this position will perform day-to-day administration for the Talent Management products, starting with the Taleo module. This position will be responsible for mission critical enterprise applications and sensitive data, so attention to detail and quality of work is critical.

Excellent critical and analytical thinking skills are required. This Professional & Scientific full-time position will be filled as an Application Developer (PIA2) classification.
Responsibilities and Duties
Perform day-to-day administration/support of Oracle Cloud product(s), starting with Taleo (Recruiting and Onboarding). Provide front line support for process owners; oversee issue resolution and serve as primary contact for escalation to Oracle customer service
Work closely with process owners to collect functional configuration requirements to business needs; Change configuration to meet their needs within the parameters of the cloud solution.
Implement upgrades based on the vendor's timeline; create test plans and change management tasks to assist impacted process owners.
Determine appropriate timeline for roll out of new optional features based on customer business needs, process plans, and readiness.
Administer data security and role set-up; establish approval levels, define appropriate roles and troubleshoot access issues.
Monitor multiple system integrations with the Cloud product(s), work closely with senior IT staff to resolve issues and meet changing business needs
Create complex specialized and Ad Hoc reporting for Talent Management data needs

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Extensive experience (typically 3-5 years) configuring, testing and supporting cloud applications for large enterprise wide business processes. At least two of those years as an applications/systems analyst supporting HR Cloud solution comparable to Oracle/Taleo (i.e. SAP/Success Factors, Work Day, etc.)
Working knowledge of best practices for web accessibility for individuals with disabilities working in a team oriented environment
Excellent communication and customer relations skills, including the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with technical and non-technical staff
Previous experience with Oracle e-Business Human Capital Management systems (HR/Payroll/Benefits) or Talent Management modules (Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning & Development, Succession)
