As a UHG Corporate Services Senior Business Analyst, you will work closely with UHG Corporate Services management to participate in analysis that may include any of the following: vendor requirement validation and reduction across the entity (RFP and business case analysis), vendor oversight activities to ensure safe and secure data, innovative information technology planning and justification of moving applications to nimble platforms and away from maintenance intensive mainframe requirements, business case development for real estate or other funding proposals, long term real estate planning and investigating the success of workplace efficiency models, enterprise-wide process improvement projects, data management and reporting improvements to facilitate decision making. Candidates should be able to gather business information and synthesize it logically and analytically. You will be empowered to support short and long term operational/strategic business activities; develop, enhance and maintain operational information and models that will have an impact on business decisions. In this leadership role, you will have the opportunity to take the contributions of analysts and create valuable solutions to improve the health care system. As a UHG Corporate Services Senior Business Analyst, you will participate in a rotational program within Corporate Services that includes an impactful leadership role in several areas including those listed below with final placement based on best fit between the employee and business need.Mergers & Acquisition integration. UHG has an active history of acquisitions and Corporate Services is in a unique position to engage with each acquisition to ensure the support and value of a Fortune 6 company is spread across the enterprise, especially pertaining to procurement and real estate synergies Reporting and Analysis. Managing $6B of spend provides multiple opportunities to bring value to the enterprise through rationalization and improved performance of vendors, ongoing negotiation strategy and data visualization to improve decisions Business case development. Strategic vendor selection, enterprise initiatives and significant real estate capital spending lends itself to business case development, driving optimal recommendations presented to executive leadership Cross company partnership. Enterprise procurement partners with business divisions to manage vendor relationships. These partnerships are constantly evolving and assessing new value adding vendor oversight propositions as the business changes Long Term Real Estate Planning. Making optimal real estate decisions across 20M square feet and nearly 800 sites worldwide requires continual assessment of business strategy, labor and economic markets as well as productivity and other internal business metrics at the site level Enterprise Sourcing and Procurement. Procurement specialists develop expertise within specific spend commodities, constantly refining industry knowledge, negotiating leverage and contracting prowess.
