Youth & Family Counseling (YFC) is an outpatient counseling center that offers individual, couple and family counseling to children, adolescents and adults from all walks of life out of our offices in Libertyville as well as in community settings. The organization is known for its high standard of care and the accessibility of its services.
We are seeking a full-time therapist to work with our clients on a broad range of clinical issues. This is a wonderful opportunity to with with a diverse client population, join an strong clinical team, and be a part of a thriving organization.
Use best clinical practices to establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients, assess and diagnose clients, and develop and implement treatment plans;
Maintain clinical records, manage clinical emergencies, and liaise with outside resources when appropriate;
Manage the financial contract with clients and maintain an expected level of service delivery;
Participate in and support YFC’s marketing, outreach and fundraising activities;
Contribute to consult groups and clinical staff meetings.
Licensure in counseling or related field (LSW, LPC, AMFT, etc.), independent licensure preferred (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, etc.);
Experience working with adults, children, adolescents and families in an outpatient setting;
Ability to work evenings;
Positive attitude and willingness to engage with YFC’s mission.

This position is full-time (40 hours per week) with benefits and reports to YFC’s Director of Clinical Services. Salary is commensurate with licensure and experience.
