Gannon University, a Catholic university, invites applications for the position of Data Coordinator for Institutional Research, Assessment and Analytics. Responsibilities include management of multiple phases of University survey administration; support in analysis of the results; assists in production of narrative and graphical presentations used to inform planning and decision-making. The Data Coordinator is responsible for identifying, collecting, and submitting University data for external surveys, as well as contributing to IPEDS and other state and federal reporting. This position supports the Institutional Research Office in continuous improvement of data collection, storage, and retrieval systems that lead to institutional effectiveness; thus, as the office evolves, the Coordinator will learn new skills and transition commensurate with the growth of the office. Must be able to support and promote the University’s Mission.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree; course work in statistics, math, or a related discipline is required. Must have robust knowledge of Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R, etc.), Word, PowerPoint; Must have excellent computer skills and the ability to adapt to new technological processes; excellent verbal and written communication skills; be detail-oriented; the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
