The College-Conservatory of Music, a comprehensive college for the performing and media arts, seeks an experienced teacher/performing artist for a tenure-track faculty appointment in the area of horn.
Responsibiltiies: Responsibilities include teaching horn students on all collegiate levels (BM, BME, MM, AD, and DMA). Recruit and maintain a high-quality studio, teach studio-related classes as needed: studio performance, orchestral excerpts, pedagogy, and horn choir. Additional responsibilities include student academic advising, DMA lecture-recital and document advising, and serving on college and university committees.
Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree required, doctoral degree preferred or commensurate professional experience, significant orchestral performance experience, and teaching at the college/university level, including a successful, demonstrable record of student success.

Terms of Appointment: Full-time tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Appointment Date: August 15, 2018.
