This includes supporting the Director of Strategy and Segment Engagement with the following: managing a book of business of assigned groups to drive strategic planning for custom materials, budget innovation, overall relationship management across the organization, readiness activities/reporting, and be the lead point of contact for assigned custom group strategies and programs in alignment with enterprise, business segment and department objectives and initiatives. In the effort to develop and plan communication strategy for the M&R/E&I URS Group Retiree portfolio, this individual will be required to collaborate with various stakeholders within the organization including the Team Captains of Materials Operations. Primary Responsibilities: Drive Strategy and work with Project and Operation teams to develop and execute the plans related to all aspects of custom and jumbo group communication objectives, policies, and initiatives. Work with operations leads to account for budget and resource planning based on membership and growth objectives Maintain a detailed understanding of the environment and regulations (State, CMS) Specific activities include the following: Drive engagement and relationships - socialize and collaborate strategies with all E&I and M&R business partners. This specifically includes, but is not limited to: Senior Account Executives, Sales, Member Experience, Marketing, Customer Service, and Finance Innovation – identify solutions to improve process, member experience and quality Controls – implement controls in the Value Chain process to mitigate unplanned material requests Collaborate with operational teams within Enterprise Communications to ensure program implementation and delivery Collaboration for Group Retiree Strategic Planning Participate in short and long term planning Develop strategy plan for 3-5 years Cooperate with yearly Planning Kick Off Meeting with Stakeholders Product –Ensure product changes or new launches are supported and take custom factors into account Compliance – Develop advocacy plan for needed changes related to custom groups (eg ASO language) Provide all requirements to Materials Operations Team for execution of Member Materials Provide group retiree expertise to the Materials Operations team. Support leadership with enterprise initiatives and projects including: Materials re-design Process optimization Standardization of workflows Leverage best practices of other product work streams E-delivery
Required Qualifications:Undergraduate degree or similar experience3+ years of experience building effective business relationships that proceed to implementation of agreed upon outcomes and performance metrics3+ years of experience in Managed Care/Healthcare business lifecycle, governances, and regulations3+ years of experience with government guidelines, compliance, regulations (i.e. CMS, Healthcare Re-form)Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word, Adobe Professional, PowerPoint and database programs such as Access or NetSuite Strong communication and presentation skillsCareers with UnitedHealthcare.
