Our internship identifies potential leaders, provides a transparent experience of our culture and an exposure to career paths at Lilly. The people, projects, and the activities provide a wonderful landscape of learning and platform for strengthening leadership skills.
Finance- Within Finance specifically, we seek self-starting individuals who demonstrate decision-making, project management and data analysis skills. Strong problem solving, organizational, communication and analytical skills are also needed to perform successfully.
HR-Lilly's Human Resources MBA internship provides graduate students the opportunity to work on challenging, business-critical projects within its HR business support teams or its Compensation, Employee Relations, Recruiting and Staffing, and Learning & Development organizations.
Marketing- Lilly’s Marketing MBA Internship provides the opportunity to strengthen your marketing competencies while working on challenging, business-critical projects. Over the course of 12 weeks, you’ll work within Lilly’s Global and US Brand Management, Marketing Capabilities, New Product Planning, Market Research, Managed Healthcare, or Pricing/Payer Marketing teams to help us deliver unparalleled experiences to our customers.
Market Access, Strategy, and Analytics- Lilly’s Market Access Strategy & Analytics MBA’s work to ensure Lilly’s patients and providers have access and reimbursement to its products while developing leadership skills required to one day lead a team within Lilly’s Pricing, Reimbursement, and Access (PRA) division.
Technology Mgmt- Technology Management MBA internship area targets those who want to be leaders and have a passion for using technology to solve business challenges. This new MBA area merges technology and healthcare, providing participants the unique opportunity to be critical problem solvers and leaders in two of the most rapidly changing fields. Lilly’s robust development pipeline and focus on innovative technologies empower these leaders to drive technology business solutions for major company initiatives, as well as solutions for patients to make it easier for them to start, stay on and be supported by Lilly medicines. A background in IT coding/development is not a requirement, but candidates must have at 2-5 years of work experience in a variety of business functions.

For all internship positions, interns will have exposure and access to senior leadership allows you to understand their perspectives on the business, careers and values. Training sessions are structured to help you develop knowledge of the industry.
All interns will be considered for full-time positions based on their internship performance
Lilly arranges various intern activities including sporting events, dinners, lunch and learns, etc. to provide opportunities for socializing, professional development, and learning more about Lilly.

Requirements: • Enrolled in an MBA program • Expected graduation by August 2019 • Language fluency in English (both written and verbal)
Additional Skills/ Preferences:
•3 to 7 years of professional work experience with growing responsibilities in business related disciplines. • Demonstrated leadership • Previous pharmaceutical or healthcare experience is a plus, but not a requirement • Critical thinking and problem solving skills • Demonstrated teamwork • Flexibility and adaptability • Strong learning agility
