The undergraduate Department of Community Health (http://ase.tufts.edu/commhealth) at Tufts University invites applications for a part-time lecturer to teach one or more courses. The successful candidate will teach at least one introductory course (Introduction to Global Health) in Spring 2018.
Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in a field relevant to global health (e.g., public health, epidemiology) at the time of application. University-level teaching experience is required and experience with undergraduates is preferred. A successful candidate will demonstrate a clear commitment to teaching excellence at the undergraduate level, working with a diverse student population, and dedication to collaboration with faculty within and beyond the department.
Review of applications will begin September 5, 2017, and continue until the position is filled. The start date of the appointment will be January 1st, 2018 and the first day of classes is January 18.
