Responsible for financial and operational matters of the Smart Hospital Facilities. Collaborates with other Simulation Managers to implement simulation-based education.
Simulation Business Manager monitors financial and operational databases, track expenditures, and communicate payroll data. Manages and supervises all purchasing and procurement for the program. Advises Director of Simulation on matters of budget and purchasing. Oversees turn-in and disposal of equipment. Ensures compliance with credit card and procurement policies and procedures for the staff members using ProCard. Develops and maintains operational procedures and standards; Consults with appropriate administrative and supervising personnel regarding program operations and direction. Collaborates with other Simulation Managers, in regards to processes for recruiting/hiring staff members and student employees. Evaluates and maintains standards of Simulation Inventory Specialist, Standardized Patient Program Coordinator, Administrative Assistant and Office Assistant. Oversees security access and systems for Smart Hospital Facilities. Ensures safety of staff members, faculty, students, and visitors at Smart Hospital Facilities. Collaborate with other Simulation Managers to provide support to the staff members for professional development opportunities. Ensures accurate time reports of the staff members. Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor degree in Business or equivalent. Two (2+) years of experience in an operations and logistics role with scheduling, coordination, implementation and procurement experience.
2+ years of experience in Healthcare Simulation setting. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLSANDABILITIES: PROFICIENCYWITH PC ANDRELEVANTSOFTWAREAPPLICATIONS. ABILITY TO USEAUDIO/VISUALEQUIPMENT.
