Primary Responsibilities:Transportation Specialists are responsible for providing a positive experience to members while providing safe and timely transportation to and from their homes and various medical facilitiesConducts daily vehicle inspections (safety and proper equipment)Has positive Customer Service interaction with members or clinic staffSafe loading techniques for members, guest, wheelchairs and baggage, with a strict adherence to protocolCompletes required reports accurately and fullyEfficient with time managementMay have to defuse emotional situations with members
Required Qualifications:High school diploma or GED equivalentFor insurability purposes, must be at least 25 years of age or older with a valid driver's license2+ years of customer service and/or transportation delivery experienceAbility to lift up to 100 poundsAbility to push or pull heavy objects using up to 100 pounds of forceAbility to sit for extended periods of timeAbility to use fine motor skills to operate equipment and/or machineryAbility to properly drive and operate a company vehicleAbility to receive and comprehend instructions verbally and/or in writingAbility to use logical reasoning for simple and complex problem solvingThis position requires Tuberculosis screening as well as proof of immunity to Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis through lab confirmation of immunity, documented evidence of vaccination, or a doctor's diagnosis of disease If the hired individual resides in Florida (office based or telecommuting) this position requires the AHCA Level II background check (fingerprinting) by the State of Florida for all clinicians that have direct face to face contact with members OR employees who will have access to confidential patient data and will require renewal every five years.
