The Department of Surgery, Division of Transplant Surgery at the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine is seeking a board eligible transplant surgeon for a full-time faculty position; academic rank and track (tenure or non-tenure) of appointment will be commensurate with education and experience. Successful candidates must have completed an accredited general surgery residency, an ASTS-approved two-year multi-organ transplantation fellowship and be board certified/eligible with the American Board of Surgery.
The ideal candidate will have an interest in kidney and pancreas transplantation and a strong interest in comprehensive vascular access services. This position joins an active faculty group dedicated to a clinical practice support of transplantation patients, end organ failure patients, and resident teaching activities of Surgery residents and fellows, and research. The candidate will participate in operating room and ward teaching, and advising, train and direct activities of surgical trainees and medical students.

The position involves teaching and clinical training of medical students, residents and fellows in vascular and other surgical specialties.
