The Hershey Company is seeking to fill multiple undergraduate-level summer intern positions across a variety of functions within our Finance organization.
Summer intern positions require a full-time (40 hours / week) commitment for 12 weeks in Summer 2018, and performance will be calibrated at the end of the summer. Successful interns will be considered for full time employment after completion of their college degree.
Potential areas / departments that will be hiring undergraduate intern candidates include:
US SG&A Finance
Provide support and assistance to the US SG&A Finance team by focusing on opportunities for improvement in light of HSY’s current Margin for Growth environment, including but not limited to:
Support of zero based budgeting process for US SG&A areas of responsibility;
Assistance in target creation and communication / follow up to budget owners for the 2019 annual planning process;
Ownership of oversight and budgeting process for 2019 Plan contract labor and intern expenses; and
Creation of a new process to perform monthly audit of miscellaneous expenses.
Internal Audit / IT Internal Audit
Assist with financial, IT, and business process control audits performed globally throughout The Hershey Company by:
Conducting planning, fieldwork and reporting tasks for 2018 audits as well as performing data analytics to support audit activity;
Assessing risks, documenting core business processes to evaluate the design of internal controls, and testing to conclude on operating effectiveness of internal controls; and
Assisting with review and validation of IT security controls and procedures.

Minimum Education Requirements:
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program, entering your Junior or Senior year as of Summer 2018; majors in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration and Economics are highly preferred
Preference will be given to students with a GPA of 3.2 or higher
Reliable transportation to and from work, and willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA for the duration of the internship
