Posting Summary: The Department of Pediatrics is seeking a Financial Analyst to help the department manage its demanding analytical needs. Incumbent will perform analysis on the full range of business, which includes financial, operational and budgeting analysis. This position will report the Administrator of the department, but will be a key resource for the Chairman, Chiefs, Faculty, and accounting team. This position will serve as an SBAR expert, and will train faculty and help them submit business plans using this format. They will also develop and maintain productivity and performance dashboards for the divisions and the department, as well as other duties such as LEAN management analysis and project management. Candidate should have working knowledge of financial analysis, and should be able to analyze and present information. The ideal candidate will have access to Epic reporting tools, and well as UVA and UPG financial platforms.
A bachelor's degree in business or related field as well as at least one year of previous experience in analytics is required.
