HOSPICE MEDICAL DIRECTOR – Phoenix, AZ.
Banner Health’s Banner Medical Group (BMG) is seeking a BC/BE Palliative Care Physician to join our growing team of caring professionals as a Hospice Medical Director. The qualified candidate will be a dedicated palliative care professional, possess strong clinical skills and experience as a Hospice Medical Director with demonstrated leadership ability and strong desire to help continue to grow our program. The Director will oversee four field medical teams with employed physicians and an NP as well as contracted physicians. This is an expanding and evolving program and coordinates with BMG inpatient services and will integrate with facilities for educational opportunities, community outreach and professional organizations.
Requirement and Essential Functions:
Board Certification with CAQ in Hospice and Palliative Medicine
Fellowship trained, experience in Palliative Care preferred
Excellent communication skills, ability to lead palliative care teams and grow the program
Work schedule: M-F (options for call with future growth)
Clinical 50% / Administrative 50%
Call: 1:7 weekend coverage

Banner Hospice also provides care in many of the group homes, assisted living facilities, independent living facilities, and skilled nursing facilities
