The public launch of the Campaign took place in April 2016 and fundraising for the campaign priorities will continue through 2020. The Campaign will support many areas of the College including the Annual Fund, increased financial aid, new programs in academic areas, technology initiatives and programs that will give our students experiential learning opportunities to help them prepare for lives of purpose and passion. There are four major capital projects in this Campaign including a new contemplative center, a renovation and expansion of our indoor athletic facilities, a new campus recreation/wellness center and a new performing arts facility.
Reporting to the Director of Leadership Giving in the Advancement office, the Leadership Giving Officer is responsible for the solicitation of gifts from the College's most financially able alumni, parents and friends in specific geographic regions as assigned by the Director of Leadership Giving. These solicitations are usually in the $100,000 to $1,000,000 range and will be part of the College's $400M Become More Comprehensive Capital Campaign. The Leadership Giving Officer may also be asked to assume responsibilities for managing specific projects and responsibilities as needed.
Bachelor's Degree and three or more years relevant experience in advancement/development/outside sales is required. Must have a familiarity with and commitment to the mission of the College of the Holy Cross. High degree of self-motivation and an entrepreneurial approach are critical to success in this role. Team player with strong interpersonal skills, creativity, and a professional presence required.
