The office of the Career Development Center (CDC) provides resources for Oregon State University (OSU) students and alumni to develop their career plans to pursue meaningful careers. The Career Development Center works with employers to provide OSU students and alumni access to exceptional professional development, graduate, and career opportunities. The Information Technology Consultant promotes and delivers the overall operation of the CDC information technology and services that includes oversight and maintenance of multiple software systems, webpage management, and IT computing and equipment support.
This classification requires a basic foundation of knowledge and skills of technology and information systems generally obtained through an AA degree in computer science, information systems, educational technology, communications, or related fields, or similar certified course work in applicable fields of study and at least one year of related work experience.
Verifiable office experience in website management, architecture and design and database management. Including experience with modern CMS platforms (Magenta, Wordpress, Drupal, etc.).
