The Sr. Quality Data Analyst is responsible for working with multiple databases to manage and produce reports and dashboards for SCL Health. This position is responsible for the analysis, validation, and reporting of data that is maintained within the Department of Quality, Safety and Risk. This position acts as a lead in researching data integrity issues, assisting in the implementation of new systems, and facilitating the optimization of current systems. As part of a team, this role also functions in a backup capacity for the maintenance and upkeep of various clinical data systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Create reports, conduct analysis, contribute to vendor management and possess an ability to interface with our EPIC (electronic medical record) data, cost accounting databases and vendor solutions (Press Ganey, Premier, RL Solutions, and other data sources that impact patient experience)
Demonstrate competence in data management, data integrity, statistical analysis, and data reporting and possess the ability to educate others about simple and complex concepts in both formal and informal settings.
Ensures that the actions and results related to report card management and analyses, report development, and vendor management are in accord with overall organizational needs; continually improves the quality of services through process improvement; implements and coordinates new programs and projects as required.
Collaborates with end users to identify clinical/business needs that may be resolved through the use of programming to develop reports, design and maintain databases for clinical and operational reports.
Develops strong relationships with affiliates and other leaders throughout the company to actively seek out solutions to identified business needs under the direction of their supervisor. This position displays excellent communication skills with the Information Technology department, Finance, Care Site stakeholders.

May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
Two to three years in data analytics.
One to two years in a healthcare setting.
Experience in development and implementation of strategies to measure and improve patient experience.
Experience in healthcare finance, claims, safety and\or quality.
Background and experience in statistics.
Background and experience in data management and automation.
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
High degree of independent judgement.
Demonstrated organizational skills.
Proficient in Excel, Access, Word, Outlook and Powerpoint.
Skills in Alteryx and Tableau or similar data blending and reporting tools.
Ability to interpret data trends and variation related to targets and measures.
