Assistant Director, Global Support and Student Engagement
Gannon University, a Catholic university, invites applications for the position of Assistant Director of Global Support and Student Engagement. The successful candidate will provide operational support to the director and will be responsible for advising international students on cultural, immigration, and personal concerns; developing and implementing social and cultural programming in tandem with various student clubs and organizations as well as programming which supports departmental goals; planning and implementing new student orientation programs for ESL and degree seeking students; developing connections with off campus resources; and collaborating with other University departments to prepare students as global citizens. Candidates must be able to support and promote the University's Mission.
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree and a minimum of two-plus years of relevant experience in higher education with international students. Successful candidates should be proficient in Microsoft applications and have experience creating brochures, ads, newsletters, and other marketing materials. Preferred qualifications include a working knowledge of SEVIS and F-1 visa regulations. Must have a current valid driver's license and must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (U.S. Green Card Holder).
