Under supervision of the Lab Manager and In Vivo SRA 2, the incumbent will attend weekly meetings, keep track of cell culture supplies, and maintain equipment and a clean lab environment. Incumbent will culture human fetal and embryonic stem cell lines, and maintaining human stem cell cultures, including feeding, passaging, MACs sorting, neuralization, and differentiation. Incumbent will perform assays on cell lines, including immunocytochemistry, qPCR, collection of samples for karyotype analysis, and quantification of cell fate.The University of California, Irvine is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer advancing inclusive excellence.
