The Tumor Registry Supervisor assists with the daily performance activities associated with the upkeep of Tumor Registry. Reviews patient records in a timely manner for case finding, abstracting and follow-up activities as required by the American College of Surgeons (ACoS) and Illinois State Cancer Registry (ISCR). Assists in the implementation and maintenance of the electronic cancer date system (IMPAC-ELEKTRA METRIQ) as mandated by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (ACoSCoC) and other regulatory agencies. Maintains familiarity with the use and operation of various computer and software systems (including network functions) and is able to diagnose and correct malfunctions in a timely manner. Participates in various medical staff committee meetings to provide specific and aggregate data for the medical staff to make cancer care plans. Assists in the cancer program accreditation activities as mandated by the ACoSCoC.

Associates degree from an accredited college or university in Health Information. (Must provide original copy of college or university transcript at time of interview)
Registered Health Information Technician (Must provide original copy of certification /college or university transcript at time of interview)
Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) (Must provide original copy of certification /college or university transcript at time of interview)
Three (3) years of full-time paid work experience in Tumor Registry
Experience working with Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint and IMPAC-ELEKTRA METRIQ
Previous Cancer Registry Supervisory experience
