The Bortolato laboratory is seeking a highly motivated and energetic postdoctoral research assistant or associate to investigate the mechanisms underpinning gene x environment interactions in aggression. Research in the Bortolato group is primarily focused on the characterization of the biological bases of impulse-control and neurodevelopmental disorders through the employment of behavioral and molecular approaches. The candidate will have access to a newly-renovated laboratory facility that encompasses a behavioral suite, surgical area and molecular space. This work will also involve multiple collaborations with several basic and clinical scientists in the U.S. and international communities. A competitive salary and benefits package will be provided.
