Tufts School of Engineering (SOE) seeks an exceptionally experienced entrepreneur in the area of entrepreneurial leadership studies. The successful candidate will be expected to play a major leadership role in the Tufts Entrepreneurial Leadership Studies Program which offers the largest and highest rated undergraduate minor at Tufts. Responsibilities will include teaching entrepreneurship and advising/mentoring both graduate and undergraduate students. Other responsibilities of the position include program and curriculum development, organizing and participating in co-curricular activities including the SOE’s flagship entrepreneurial competition, the Tufts $100k New Ventures competition, and spearheading fundraising activities.

A bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree (Master’s/MBA/PhD) in a relevant field is desirable. All candidates should have a passion for teaching and experience in launching a startup, raising capital, and managing a successful entrepreneurial enterprise.

The Professor of the Practice rank is awarded when a candidate has demonstrated outstanding professional accomplishments and achieved senior stature in his/her field, demonstrated by a career path of increasing responsibility and scope.
