University of Maryland Baltimore School of Pharmacy is seeking to fill a new Clinical Pharmacist position in the Experiential Learning Program. The qualified candidate will coordinate a transitions of care program, conduct training site visits to ensure compliance with ACPE standards, precept student pharmacist training experiences, provide clinical pharmacy services at the professional level, and oversee preceptor development and training activities. The candidate will work 2.5 days at Medstar National Rehabilitation Hospital in Washington DC and 1.5 day at Universities at Shady Grove in Rockville MD.
**This is a PART-TIME, 32 hours per week, REGULAR position**

Manages a transitions of care pharmacy program.
Performs ELP site visits to ensure compliance with ACPEstandards.
Precepts student pharmacists.
Provides preceptor development.
Providesdirect patient care in accordance with clinical privileges.
May dispensemedications and observe patient reactions in conjunction with a clinical trial.
May perform administrative duties, such as staff scheduling,supervision of pharmacy technicians, and coordination of drug utilizationreporting.
Performs other closely-related duties as assigned.
Licensed Pharmacist with aPharmBS/PharmD from as ACPE accredited pharmacy program.
Able to secure and retain an active State of MarylandPharmacist license for employment. Eligible for District of Columbia PharmacistLicensure.

Hiring Range: Mid $90K to Low $100K - Commensurate with education and experience
