We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Data Analyst in the Nursing Research Department. To qualify a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Health Care Administration, or related field required, Masters Degree preferred. Demonstrates knowledge of systems analysis and reporting including use of access, and excel. Previous healthcare experience including knowledge of financial and hospital operations preferred. Strong interpersonal and project management skills coupled with a team oriented style required. Strong conceptual ability required.
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing analytical support and development of reports and presentations related to management of hospital operations at the unit/service/department level, performance measurement and process improvement efforts, regulatory compliance programs and other initiatives related to the Department of Nursing/Patient Safety Committee. Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
Demonstrates knowledge of the organization s Service Standards and incorporates them into the performance of duties.
Supports the function of the Patient Safety Committee through the provision of required data and recording of minutes.
Provides education and awareness in concepts and principles of data analysis and reporting.
Under guidance of Nursing Leadership, assists in coordinating and facilitating efforts of department members related to the coordination and retrieval of information.
Provides analytic support and report production for departments of nursing initiatives, including Quality, Magnet preparation, Patient Safety Committee.
