Responsible for analyzing patient access to care business and financial data and translating the detailed analysis into business solutions the Capacity Analytics (CA) team can own to closure. Understand business problems and opportunities in the context of requirements and recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.Collaborate with stakeholders and users to synthesize, articulate and document business objectives and requirements by applying system and analytical thinking methodology and discipline. Proficient knowledge of business strategy and business planning principles and applies to project work (areas may include but not limited to: strategy, goals, objectives, funding, management, etc.). Leaddata and business analyst to perform advanced analysis and present in a meaningful way to business owners.Partner with adult and pediatric leadership to proactively report performance and tailor on improvement initiatives in effort to support areas for improvement and document recommended changes. Monitor and maintain forecast and performance data to identify change and alert senior leadership of possible solutions to improve performance. Provide oversight and management for all CA projects and prioritization while mentoring Business Analyst team members.
Key Functions and Expected Performances:
1.Maintain comprehensive documentation of business processes, analytics design, measure definitions, data integration and usability to assist with the development of enterprise level data concepts and metadata.
2.Gather data using data mining techniques and tools, analyze information, develop conclusions, communicate recommendations clearly and work effectively with others on a team.
3.Develop communications such as PowerPoint presentations, proposals, policies and procedures, and business summaries to enhance and support strategic and/or operational plans.
4.Effectively translate complex data and analyses to all levels within the organization using data visualization techniques.
5.Perform financial and business process analysis, draws conclusions, and makes recommendations to leadership.
6.Apply process improvement methods applicable to the field and designs plans for implementation.
7.Analyze trends affecting budget/accounting needs and recommend procedural changes as needed.
8.Participate in calculation, validation and updating of cost saving initiatives.
9.Develop budget and forecasting models that analyze the overall business plan. Manage and prepare budgets based upon current standards and provide regular updates.
10.Aggregate data from different sources, perform analysis as per business requirements, and provide business solutions.
11.Research current challenges and trends in the field and brings information and recommendations back to leadership for consideration.
12.Researches business problems and quickly understands the issues and data challenges of organization along with providing recommendations and next steps.
13.Analyze proposed plans and policies, as well as new programs, to determine costs. Makes appropriate recommendations to management in order to strengthen business controls, improve operations, and/or reduce costs.
14.Develop programs and/or queries to retrieve and analyze data for projects, program, or reports.
15.Apply statistically sound analytic methods within program and projects.
