The Storeskeeper Supervisor will perform a wide range of duties critical to day-to-day operations and is primarily located at the 14th Avenue Warehouse. The Storeskeeper Supervisor is a professional delegated buyer responsible for the procurement of complex and/or highly technical supplies, non-capital equipment, vendor contracts, development and renewals, equipment and product recalls, billing and invoice processing, and management of equipment inventories valued at approximately $1.7M.REQUIRED--Supervisory and/or leadership experience.--Performance management experience (leading, coaching, mentoring, correcting, disciplining, evaluating, and training staff).--Extensive experience and knowledge of the Joint Commission, Federal, State, and local regulations.--Valid California Class C Driver's License.--Forklift Certification.--Purchasing experience.Knowledge of Material Management purchasing principles, procedures and practices.--Knowledge of Departmental, UC Davis Health and UC Davis policies and procedures regarding financial, material, and procurement management.--Knowledge of inventory management concepts, systems, and techniques.PREFERRED--Experience in a Healthcare environment.--Possess certificate of completion from a recognized union apprenticeship program, University apprenticeship program, accredited trade school, or have the equivalent amount of experience and training comparable to journey level.--Working knowledge of Federal, State, and local codes and regulations and University policies and procedures.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS--Must complete Supervisor Class Series Certificate program within first 18 months of hire.--Participation in the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Pull Notice Systems. --Occasionally work nights, weekends or holidays.--Work scheduled/unscheduled overtime, and be accessible during off duty periods by telephone.--Move equipment and supply items weighing up to 50 lbs.--Work in inclement weather (hot/cold).--THIS POSITION MAY BE SUBJECT TO A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION, DRUG SCREEN, LIVE SCAN FINGERPRINTING, MEDICAL EVALUATION CLEARANCE, AND FUNCTIONAL CAPACITY ASSESSMENT
