The X-ray Technologist performs the x-ray exams as ordered by the providers, tracks reports read by the radiologists, is a liaison with the radiology group, and bills for procedures. The technologist also provides backup medical assistance and administrative support as needed.
This is a per diem position; must be available for weekends during the academic year.
Licensed technologist (or eligible) in the state of Rhode Island required.
Associate Degree or graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology required.
Registered technologist (AART) required.
2 yearsâ™ experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.
Basic computing skills required.
Excellent interpersonal skills necessary
Willingness and ability to cross train in other areas required.
