The Financial Analyst for the North America Market and Business Development team is tasked to support the financial analysis and reporting for the Customer Enabling team (NC/Z), and assist in the development of the manufacturing and laboratory platform within North America.
This position will report to the Manager of Divisional Controlling.

Formula for Success: You Will...
Serve as the Demand Manager and main point-of-contact for NC/Z for all Business Units (BU) or Functions.
Analyze current services, forecast demand, and identify new business development for the NC/Z teams.
Provide support on internal marketing, proposals, and cost center assignment on projects and global reports
Support processes related to budgeting, cost analysis, and accounting/financial requirements
Prepare accurate and timely financial analysis for the Vice President of Customer Enabling.
Participate as a Project Team member on various business/financial analyses for Senior Management.

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You...
Bachelor's degree in a Business, Technical, or Finance concentration; an advanced degree in Finance is desired.
At least 3+ years of relevant business experience
Advanced knowledge of computer applications including Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
Experience with SAP
In-depth knowledge of BASF financial systems and global reporting systems, and BASF Business Processes is preferred.
Strong management reporting experience.
Solid analytical skills required, as well as the ability to think in strategic terms.
Demonstrated ability to work within and lead cross-functional teams, as well as global project teams; demonstrated Business Acumen and Strategic Thinking
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills with a diverse mix of colleagues.
Must be able to effectively communicate to and influence members of the leadership team and departments.
