Emergency Management Continuity Program Manager-17006630
The continuity program manager coordinates the clinical/technical/scientific operations of the emergency management, disaster response and business continuity program for the SCL Health System and Health Networks.Serves as a primary resource working with the hospitals, health networks, hospice, mental health, long term and skilled nursing, assisted living, independent living, safety net, facilities as well as state and local public health departments and medical providers with their initiatives for emergency management and disaster response plans.
Develops a COOP strategy system-wide, leveraging existing efforts and best practices.Assists in the development of long-term strategic plan including the identification of program goals and tasks.Provide overall direction setting of the program and drive the delivery of the COOP on an ongoing basis.Lead COOP efforts among the various work streams.
Drives and develop the content of the COOP and documentation for core operational areas which includes, business resumption, recovery, restoration, and disaster recovery plans that allows for business continuation in the event of disruptions or disasters.Ensure that COOPs are developed to maintain and/or restore business processes within required timescales following interruption to, or failure of, critical business processes.Coordinate COOP Training and Drills/Exercises.
Drives Business Impact Analysis (BIA) to assess internal and external threats and the risk they pose to SCL Health and the community served and recommend mitigation strategies to reduce or eliminate identified risks.Escalate risks and coordinate mitigating responses.
·Bachelor degree in related discipline.Successful experience in combination with relevant courses may be substituted for a Bachelor degree (e.g. CHEP, FEMA Emergency Management Institute courses).
