As a member of University Marketing, the Digital Experience Manager is responsible for the successfully deploying effective, engaging, high performing user experiences on Ohio State's web/mobile presences. He/she will directly manage the web and mobile channel portfolio for University Marketing, including the OSU.edu home page, alumni and donor web properties. This position will initiate projects to optimize web/mobile experiences in alignment with the digital strategy set by leadership and serve as a user experience (UX) advisor and leader at each stage of a web project.
In close collaboration with designers, developers, marketing strategists, analysts, project managers and copywriters across University Marketing, as well as partners across the university, the ideal candidate will be a dynamic and flexible collaborator and a data-driven, committed advocate for the end user. Successful candidates will be detail-oriented, including ability to manage timelines and expectations in a fast-paced, cross-collaborative environment while also exhibiting the behaviors associated with the Office of Advancement's core competencies: Leadership, Continuous Improvement, Teamwork and Collaboration, and Communication/Interpersonal Effectiveness.
Additional Information for Applicants::
Must be able to submit a portfolio of work demonstrating experience planning for web sites and/or applications or mobile apps, with examples of user experience artifacts (site maps, content audits, user stories, user flows, etc.) and user research and testing insights.
Familiarity with Section 508 or WCAG 2.0 web accessibility standards; experience working with agile teams and working within an iterative, agile culture; experience working in a marketing, digital agency, or higher education setting.
Target Salary: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 Annually
