The College Fair Assistant is responsible for coordinating all aspects of approximately 250+ College Fairs each Fall and 125+ College Fairs each Spring in various cities around the world. Fairs are staffed with alumni and parent volunteers. The person in this position works closely with Undergraduate Admissions and Alumni and Development. This position is part-time, non-benefits eligible working 15-19 hours per week. Prefer schedule worked over three to four days per week – Monday/Tuesday, Wednesday/Thursday, and Friday.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process College Fair invitations and enter information in confidential database(s).
Merge confirmation letters and send instructions to volunteers, RSVP to fair organizers, order College Fair materials for delivery for each fair, and field questions from volunteers and College Fair venues as necessary.
Process College Fair evaluations and follow up with phone calls and letters.
Assist with other general office duties, including mail merges, filing, supply closet maintenance, APAP Chair Conference preparation, and other duties as assigned.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Expertise with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Excellent clerical, typing, and telephone skills are essential.
Must have attention to detail.

Must be a team player and work with a positive attitude on any task required.

College degree or coursework toward a college degree preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Access databases preferred.
The hiring range for this position is $12.72 to $14.00 per hour. Average work week is 15-19 hours per week.
